This was a perfect addition for our Harry Potter nursery. Good quality and was created and shipped fairly quickly.

Salisbury, NC

I bought this broom as a gift for someone. After seeing this broom in person I wanted to keep it for myself. It is a gorgeous broom!! I love it and the recipient loves it, too. Thank you!!!

Tools of the trade

We do it All

From harvesting the little sapling out of the woods to the finished piece you hold in your hand, we do the whole enchilada! We do every aspect of the work and have withstood the test of time for over thirty five years.

Built to last

Our business was founded in 1981 in the Ozark Mtns. Of Northern Arkansas. The tools, materials and techniques were a broommaking style that was native to Appalachia and the Ozark Mountains.

Our work is made of only 100% broomcorn. The woods are locally harvested , kiln dried hardwoods outside of Eugene, Oregon. They are “hand wound”, “hand stitched”, “hand finished”, and “hand carved.”

We don't believe in "planned obsolescence"

You can feel good about about purchasing our brooms. They are completely hand made in Eugene, Oregon. We are all about supporting our local communities, sustainability, “mindfulness and meaningful work.”

The "Cropper"

After the broom is finished, it goes to the “cropper” where it is trimmed to the desired shape. We have several croppers....... Some are better for straight cuts, some rounded cuts and some for angles. These tools are also from the 1800's and have been reconditioned and rebuilt on metal frames.
